In order to thoroughly implement the "Beijing Home-based Elderly Care Service Regulations" and the "Beijing Elderly Care Service Facilities Special Plan (2015-2020)", in order to meet the increasingly diverse elderly care needs of the people, and to create an "industry-university-use integration" A unique elderly care service platform. In 2016, the Yanyuan Street Office and the Institute of Population Research of Peking University jointly launched a home-based elderly care demand survey project in Yanyuan Street, Haidian District, Beijing. This survey project was carried out in four stages. First, the preliminary preparations for the project were carried out from May to June 2016, including questionnaire design and other preliminary preparations; secondly, from July to August 2016, we visited Taiwan and Xiamen to visit and learn rich Elderly care experience and form a research report to provide reference for subsequent work; then, in order to ensure the feasibility of the questionnaire, a pre-survey was carried out in Chengzeyuan Community and Changchunyuan Community of Yanyuan Street in October 2016, and the questionnaire was collected There were 73 valid questionnaires, and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were evaluated and revised; finally, based on the pre-survey, a sample survey of 7 communities in Yanyuan Street was carried out from November to December 2016, and a final survey report was formed . The demand design in this demand survey strictly follows the content of home care services in the "Beijing Home Care Services Regulations" and aims to understand the basic situation, economic status, health status, and social needs of home care services of the elderly population in Yanyuan Street. It provides a reliable basis for Yanyuan Street to further improve the elderly care service system and carry out in-depth elderly assistance services, thereby improving the quality of life of the elderly in Yanyuan Street. The questionnaire covers five parts: basic information, marriage and family status, economic status, health status and community home care services. Community home care services include meal assistance services, housekeeping services, medical rehabilitation and nursing services, elderly assistive equipment services, and living environment. Eight contents include rehabilitation services, psychological counseling services, cultural and sports activities and course services, and emergency rescue.
This survey involves a total of 7 communities in Yanyuan Street, Haidian District, including Changchun Garden, Weixiu Garden, Chengze Garden, Yandong Garden, Zhongguanyuan, Langrun Garden, and Yanbei Garden. The survey objects are mainly seven Elderly people aged 60 and above in the community (including a small number of middle-aged and elderly people aged 50-59). This survey consists of two parts - residents' self-answers and household interviews. As shown in Table 1 below, among them, the samples distributed to each community for residents to answer themselves were selected based on 15% of the residents over 60 years old. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the communities, and 381 questionnaires were recovered, including 69 from Zhongguanyuan. There were 41 samples from Yandong Garden, 78 samples from Weixiu Garden, 33 samples from Changchun Garden, 56 samples from Chengze Garden, 30 samples from Langrun Garden, and 74 samples from Yanbei Garden; while the samples for the household survey were elderly people who considered self-answered questionnaires. Most of the people are younger and have better physical function. Therefore, 8% of residents over 80 years old are selected. Neighborhood committee staff who know the residents' situation assist in selecting elderly people who are very old and have difficulty going out. A total of 94 household surveys are conducted. Among them, there are 21 copies of Zhongguanyuan, 18 copies of Yandong Garden, 11 copies of Weixiu Garden, 9 copies of Changchun Garden, 16 copies of Chengze Garden, 5 copies of Langrun Garden and 14 copies of Yanbei Garden. There are a total of 475 valid questionnaires for self-answer and household registration. As the basic demographic variables gender is missing 1, age is missing 19, marital status is missing 11, and whether they are active or retired faculty members of Peking University is missing 8, so the effective samples for reporting analysis after removing missing values are 446.
